Assigning different access to different users of your goalPOS app helps to minimize irregularities among your staff. Lets consider a scenario where a business owner must not be present in the shop all the time. There have to be restrictions among the staff according to their roles in the shop. One who serves as the sales person should not have access to the inventory. The sales person should not have access to the settings and so on. This situation was considered while goalPOS was being designed. The user privileges handles user access settings.
To assign privilege to the account types - Manager and Sales; ensure you are logged in as Admin. From the Main Menu Screen, click on the Settings item to go to the Settings menu.

The sales staff should not be able to see the Inventory as they may change them and mess the system up, the Creditors and Debtors or the Returns. All of this is for the owner and Manager.
