Creating an item in your inventory is easier than you think. You will know how to add new item and update existing item in your inventory. Updating an item comes into play if there is a change in the item's information such as cost price, retail or wholesale price. It is always good to update item information so as to get the best from this app. Lets first create an item in the inventory.
How to add new item
To add a new product, you must be logged in as Admin or Manager, depending on the right assigned. From the Main Menu screen, click on the Products menu item to open All Products screen.

Click on the round plus (+) button on the bottom right corner of the screen to open the Add Product screen.

On the Add product screen, enter all the needed information. To add product image (not compulsory), you can browse from your gallery or snap with the camera. If your product does not expire, put a very far date so as not to track the item for expiration. You might want to learn how to rightly pick a date for expiration.
Remember to enter the product minimum quantity. The product minimum quantity is the quantity which when reached as you continue to sell, the system begins to use its alert feature to list the product for attention.
Once you are done supplying the necessary information, click on the Add Product button to save the item.
How to update item
To update item, you should be on the All Products screen. Click on the item you wish to update to open the item in the Edit Product Details screen.

Modify the necessary fields and click on the Update Information button to save.
