The situation whereby an item is sold and later returned due to one reason or the other is taken care of in this inventory and POS app for retail and wholesale business. When items are sold, the quantity decreases in the inventory. Returning items increases the quantity in the inventory and also decreases the total sales.
To return a sold item back to the inventory, from the main menu, click on the Returns menu item to open the returns screen

Click on the order containing the item to be returned. This opens the order returns details.

Click on the green return arrow icon close to the item to be returned to initiate the return. A confirmation dialog comes up to ensure you really wanted to return the item and not a mistake.
If you really want to return the item, click on YES and the item is returned successfully.
